Brief Job description:

 

  • Review articulation agreements for updates to program requirements and maintain the articulation database in Banner.
  • Represent Buffalo State at community college visits, college fairs, AIR visits, high school visits, high school fairs, Open House, and yield programs/activities.
  • Evaluate applicant credentials and render admissions decisions; conduct regular, on-going follow-up with pending applications.
  • Serve in on-call rotation; conduct individual and group information session presentations.
  • Execute credit evaluations and updates.
  • Conduct written and telephone follow-up with students.
  • Complete annual reports and serve as a transfer resource for Admissions staff.
 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends and up to 10 weeks of recruitment related travel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with transfer students
  • Experience working with Student Information Systems (Banner, PeopleSoft, etc.)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Slate, Recruiter, Salesforce, etc.)
